I remember back in the early 1980’s as a pre-teenager going to Arizona to visit relatives.
What do I remember most about the entire trip?
Well, several things come to mind:
Meeting many cousins for the first time…
Gazing out in wonder looking at the natural wonder that is the Grand Canyon…
The dry heat and…
A box of rocks.
A plastic box, maybe 3 inches wide, by 3 inches long, by 1 inch high, at most. In this box, were maybe a half dozen red, shiny, smooth rocks from Arizona.
I kept that plastic box, of a half dozen red, shiny, smooth rocks, for years.
So..where is that box now?
I couldn’t tell you. I honestly do not remember where it went.
Now, I have something else to place on my to do list. The next time I do some spring cleaning around the house, maybe I will stumble upon that plastic box with those half dozen red, shiny, smooth rocks from Arizona…
I hope so.…
I would submit to you that the information contained here will ultimately help to prove the point that this whole website, (and blog), is ultimately about:

And so, as I wrap up this portion of SURTSGeology, I would ask that you consider the following…
For a book that is not intended to be a book on science, let alone geology, it is quite amazing, not only on the amount of science that is in there, but the validity of the references regarding geology, that are in there.
Based on the evidence presented, I would submit to you there is absolutely nowhere in the Bible where the geology topics are unfounded. I would also submit to you that there is nowhere in the Bible where any scientific discovery since the Bible was put together, has yet to be proven false, regarding geology.
What is truly amazing is the fact that many of the facts above were already in the Bible before man and his science…and geology, ‘discovered’ them. In multiple cases, by hundreds or thousands of years.
What other religious book has this record?
The point is this:
While the Holy Bible is of course a religious book first and foremost, clearly, it is much more than that.
