Day 181: How Do You Move Something That Isn’t Supposed To Be Moved – Ecclesiastes To James.

Thinking about the musings from Day 180: How Do You Move Something That Isn’t Supposed To Be Moved – Judges To Psalms.

I would submit to you that even though the question regarding the relationship between the Earth and the sun has been answered, we still need to address another question. I would further submit to you that once that question eventually gets answered, the end result will most likely lead to…more questions.

In Day 172: Going Backwards With 1 Or With 2?, it appeared that the Voyage of Ferdinand Magellan and his crew seemed to corroborate the scientific discoveries made by: Copernicus, Brahe, Kepler, Galilei, and Newton during the Scientific Revolution: That Ptolemy’s Geocentric, Earth-centered view of the universe was wrong.

In Day 173: I Really Thought That I Was Done With Geometry!, it appeared that no matter what grade you may have earned in your geometry class, there is getting around the fact that a circle is not a ball. Knowing the difference between a circle and a ball ultimately brings into question the scientific discoveries made regarding the Heliocentric model of the universe.

In Day 174: Which Came 1st, The Chicken Or The Egg?, the discovery of calcite crystals found in a chicken’s ovaries finally solves the age old question of what came first, the chicken or the egg. What was also learned was that there was a word in Job 38:14 that potentially brings into question all of the discoveries made during the Scientific Revolution.

In Day 176: Is The Heliocentric Model…Wrong?, The human bookends of the Scientific Revolution, Nicolaus Copernicus and Isaac Newton, both essentially stated that the Earth moves around the sun, creating in the process the Heliocentric model of the universe. Job 38:14 however claims that the Earth stands…can they both be true?

In Day 177: Which Came First The Chicken Or The Egg…Part 2., a question was asked regarding bible verses addressing the relationship between the Earth and the sun. There was a second question, that was actually listed first, that needs to be addressed in order to move forward.

Digging deeper, the question being asked is this…is the sun moving or is the earth moving?

In Day 178: How Do You Move Something That Isn’t Supposed To Be Moved – Genesis To Numbers., 11 bible verses from Genesis to Numbers began the process of answering that question.

In Day 179: How Do You Move Something That Isn’t Supposed To Be Moved – Deuteronomy To Joshua., 15 bible verses from Deuteronomy to Joshua continue the process of answering that question.

In Day 180: How Do You Move Something That Isn’t Supposed To Be Moved – Judges To Psalms., 12 bible verses from Judges to Psalms continue the process of answering that question.

Below are 15 bible verses from Ecclesiastes to James, that conclude addressing the following question:

Is the sun moving or is the earth moving?

1. Ecclesiastes 1:5 KJV:

2. Isaiah 41:25 KJV:

3. Isaiah 45:6 KJV:

4. Isaiah 59:19 KJV:

5. Jeremiah 15:9 KJV:

6. Daniel 6:14 KJV:

7. Amos 8:9 KJV:

8. Jonah 4:8 KJV:

9. Micah 3:6 KJV:

10. Nahum 3:17 KJV:

11. Malachi 1:11 KJV:

12. Matthew 5:45 KJV:

13. Mark 16:2 KJV:

14. Ephesians 4:26 KJV:

15. James 1:11 KJV:

And there you have it.

So, at final count, there are 53 bible verses, that can help us to determine whether or not the earth is moving or standing still.

Are there a couple of verses that I may have missed?

Possibly.

However, whether I found them all or maybe missed a couple, what is clear is that you cannot deny the fact the Holy Bible and the Scientific Revolution seem to be at odds regarding the movement, or lack thereof, of planet Earth.

So the next two questions that need to be asked are:

1) Can we come to a definitive conclusion regarding the Heliocentric model with the evidence already presented?

And…

2) If the answer to question 1 is no, is there more evidence that needs to be reviewed before coming to a definitive conclusion regarding the validity of the Heliocentric model?

I would submit to you that there is.

So where is the this evidence?

That question will be answered after some rest.

Was today’s blog a little confusing at times? Was the content perhaps a little overwhelming? Did you feel lost not understanding some or most of the subject matter?

Those feelings are totally understandable and it is ok to have one or more of those feelings. Remember that you are reading Day 181: How Do You Move Something That Isn’t Supposed To Be Moved – Ecclesiastes To James.

If you haven’t been in class since the first day of school…or when the project began…or when the contract was first signed, etc., these feelings make perfect and logistical sense.

Please feel free to go back to where all of this began:
