Thinking about the musings from Day 161: The Holy Bible And Paleontology – The Book Of Job…Conclusion.…
I would submit to you that now that we have completed reviewing 79 bible verses that relate to the scientific field of paleontology, the scientific journey still continues. I would further submit to you that as we now complete our 7th branch of science, (astronomy, biology, anthropology, geology, hydrology, meteorology, and now paleontology), we now need to turn our attention to our final scientific field, this one with over 125 references that can be found in the Holy Bible:
Physics.
Of course, before jumping into this next scientific field, we must establish a baseline as to what qualifies as physics. And for that, we need a standard definition:
The study of matter and energy and their interactions.
Now that we have an understanding as to what the scientific study of physics is, it is now time to begin locating the bible verses that relate to physics.
So now, let us begin with 20 bible verses that contain the following concept relating to the scientific study of physics that can be found in the books of Genesis to Psalms:
1. Genesis 1:1 KJV:
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2. Genesis 1:4 KJV:
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
3. Genesis 1:14-17 KJV:

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6. 1 Kings 7:23 KJV:
23 And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
7. 2 Kings 21:6 KJV:
6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
8. 2 Chronicles 33:6 KJV:
6 And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.

13. Job 38:31 KJV:
31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
14. Psalm 19:1 KJV:
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
And there you have it.
20 bible verses found in the books of Genesis to Psalms, whose focus can be considered under the scientific branch of physics.
While I would submit to you that these 20 bible verses help one to understand that there is a strong connection between the Holy Bible and the scientific branch of physics, it is possible that you may not be convinced of any connection….
Yet.
So, what are the next set of bible verses relating to the scientific field of physics?
That question will be answered next time.
Do not feel discouraged if you do not see a connection with the 20 bible verses from today from the Holy Bible that relate to the scientific field of physics. Do not feel discouraged if you are still unsure that the verses contained in these bible verses contain any scientific relevance at all. Instead, understand that after you have read these verses, you are continuing the process of learning about the relationship between the scientific field of physics and the Holy Bible…perhaps without even realizing it.
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. (Psalm 19:1 KJV)
Was today’s blog a little confusing at times? Was the content perhaps a little overwhelming? Did you feel lost not understanding some or most of the subject matter?
Those feelings are totally understandable and it is ok to have one or more of those feelings. Remember that you are reading Day 162: The Holy Bible And Physics – You Matter: Genesis To Psalms.
If you haven’t been in class since the first day of school…or when the project began…or when the contract was first signed, etc., these feelings make perfect and logistical sense.
Please feel free to go back to where all of this began:
