The real goal of physics is to come up with an equation that could explain the universe but still be small enough to on a T-shirt. (Leon M. Lederman)
Thinking about the musings from Day 166 The Holy Bible And Physics – You Matter: Romans To 2 Peter.…
I would submit to you that once you understand what the definition of physics is, it is easy to spot references to this scientific field in the Holy Bible. I would further submit to you that once you recognize what to look for, these references are bountiful indeed.
In Day 163: The Holy Bible And Physics – You Matter: Genesis To Psalms., 20 bible verses were covered that are contained in the books of Genesis to Psalms.
In Day 164: The Holy Bible And Physics – You Matter: Psalms To Matthew., 20 bible verses were covered that are contained in the books of Psalms to Matthew.
In Day 165: The Holy Bible And Physics – You Matter: Matthew To John., 22 bible verses were covered that are contained in the books of Psalms to Matthew.
In Day 166: The Holy Bible And Physics – You Matter: Romans To 2 Peter., 22 bible verses were covered that are contained in the books of Psalms to Matthew.
So now, let us conclude with 11 final bible verses that contain the following concept relating to the scientific study of physics, that can be found in the book of Revelation:
1. Revelation 21:15-17 KJV:
15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. 17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
2. Revelation 21:18-19 KJV:
18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. 19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
3. Revelation 21:20-21 KJV:
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
4. Revelation 21:18-21 KJV:
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
And there you have it.
So, at final count, there are 95 bible verses, who by definition, qualify under the scientific branch of physics.
Are there a couple of verses that I may have missed?
Possibly.
However, whether I found them all or maybe missed a couple, what is clear is that you cannot deny the fact that there is a strong connection between the Holy Bible and the scientific branch of physics.
So the question has to be, after covering 8 scientific branches: astronomy, biology, anthropology, geology, hydrology, meteorology, paleontology, and now physics, what comes next?
That question will be answered, after some rest.
Do not feel discouraged if you do not see a connection with the 11 sets of verses from today from the Holy Bible that relate to the scientific field of physics. Do not feel discouraged if you are still unsure that the verses contained in these bible verses contain any scientific relevance at all. Instead, understand that after you have read these verses, you are continuing the process of learning about the relationship between the scientific field of physics and the Holy Bible…perhaps without even realizing it.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (Revelation 22:15 KJV)
Was today’s blog a little confusing at times? Was the content perhaps a little overwhelming? Did you feel lost not understanding some or most of the subject matter?
Those feelings are totally understandable and it is ok to have one or more of those feelings. Remember that you are reading Day 167: The Holy Bible And Physics – You Matter: Revelation To…Revelation.
If you haven’t been in class since the first day of school…or when the project began…or when the contract was first signed, etc., these feelings make perfect and logistical sense.
Please feel free to go back to where all of this began:
